This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Ethereal House of Jewellery Design collects when you create an account for, purchase or use the Designed to be Made™ Procreate Scale Calculator (“Calculator”), how that information is used, and who else handles it on our behalf.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, an optional display name you choose, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile details Google shares to confirm your identity. Passwords are stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see them.
- Purchase information: a record that your account has purchased access, when it was granted, and the transaction details held by our payment provider (such as the amount, currency, date and payment status).
- Customer support information: whatever you choose to include when you contact us about your account or purchase.
- Technical information needed to run and secure the service: standard server and error logs, and the sign-in session stored in your browser so you stay logged in.
The measurements, DPI values and scales you type into the Calculator are worked out in your browser and are not saved to our records.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout and are handled by Stripe, not by us. Ethereal House of Jewellery Design does not receive or store complete card numbers, CVC codes or full card details at any point.
We receive from Stripe only the information needed to confirm your purchase and unlock your account, such as the payment status, the email address used at checkout and the account reference for the purchase.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and confirm your email address.
- To confirm your payment and grant access to the Calculator.
- To send essential service emails: email confirmation, sign-in and magic link emails, password reset, email change confirmation and your purchase confirmation.
- To respond to support requests about your account, access or purchase.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and fix technical problems.
- To meet our record-keeping and legal obligations, including tax and transaction records.
Marketing communications
Creating an account or purchasing the Calculator does not subscribe you to promotional marketing. The emails described above are essential account, purchase, security and service messages, and are kept separate from any promotional mailing list. If promotional emails are offered in future, they will only be sent where you have separately chosen to receive them, and you will be able to unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and analytics
The Calculator does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking tools. Your browser stores a sign-in session so you remain logged in, and our hosting and payment providers may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver and secure the service and the checkout.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to run the Calculator. They only handle personal information in order to provide their service to us:
- Stripe — payment processing and checkout.
- Supabase — authentication (accounts and sign-in) and database storage of account and access records, provided through our application platform.
- Lovable — application hosting, deployment and delivery of transactional emails such as email confirmation and purchase confirmation.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with a Google account.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information.
Security
Access to account and purchase records is restricted, transmitted over encrypted connections, and protected by database access rules so that your records are only readable by your own signed-in account and by us where needed to operate the service. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Keeping your information
We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists and for as long as we are required to retain transaction records. You can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep by law.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Contact us using the details below and include the email address associated with your Calculator account.
